Faculty Resources

Reporting Requirements

All faculty members receiving reports of a potential violation of this policy are required to contact OEI or the Title IX Coordinator as soon as practicable but not more than 72 hours after becoming aware of a report or incident. Faculty who fail to notify OEI or the Title IX Coordinator of a report or incident within 72 hours are subject to discipline.

Faculty Guidance

The Title IX Coordinator offered guidance to the faculty at-large as a way to help them understand and advise them of issues that may arise through their roles as teachers in classroom management.  Below we have compiled a list of resources available:

FAQ on Pregnant Students

Modified Course Agreement - Pregnant Students

2013 Guidance on Pregnant Students

2014 Guidance on Sensitive Materials

Accommodating Students involved in Title IX complaints

Occasionally, faculty may be contacted by OEI, the Title IX Coordinator, or Dean of Students to accommodate a student who has been involved in an incident of sexual misconduct, dating/domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or stalking to request classroom or academic accommodations.  We request that faculty do their utmost to be helpful to these students.  If you have any questions regarding these issues, please contact the Title IX Coordinator.
